Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using the AltOps website or service (the “Services”) you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind it. Where a customer has signed a separate written agreement with us, that agreement governs and takes precedence over these terms.

2. Using the Services

2.1 Accounts

Give us accurate information when you register, keep your credentials confidential, and tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised. You must be 18 or older to use the Services.

2.2 Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
• access systems or accounts you are not authorised to access;
• distribute malicious code or interfere with the operation of the Services;
• send spam, or harass anyone;
• circumvent the controls we place around agent behaviour, including approval and escalation steps.

2.3 Your responsibility for agents

You decide which workflows to record, which systems to connect an agent to, and where an agent must stop for human approval. You are responsible for the credentials you provide, for having the right to use the systems you point an agent at, and for the work agents perform on your behalf under your instructions. We provide live view, takeover and approval controls precisely so you can exercise that responsibility.

3. Customer data

You keep all rights in the data you bring to the Services, including your recordings, documents and business records. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the Services for you. We do not share customer data with model providers for training. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

4. Fees

Fees are set out in the order or agreement you sign with us. They are payable in advance unless we agree otherwise, and are non-refundable except where the law requires. We may change fees with notice; a change takes effect at your next renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. Intellectual property

The Services, including our software, models, interfaces and content, remain ours and our licensors’. You may not copy, reverse engineer or create derivative works from them except as the law allows. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them without obligation to you.

6. Availability and disclaimers

We work hard to keep the Services running and accurate, but they are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law permits. Agents act on real systems and can make mistakes; the approval and review controls exist for that reason, and you should use them for decisions that matter.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

8. Term and termination

Either party may terminate as set out in the applicable order or agreement. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, or where continued use poses a security or legal risk. On termination we stop processing your data and delete it on request. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Services with reasonable notice.

9. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with at least reasonable care and use it only to perform under these terms. This does not cover information that is public, independently developed, or lawfully received from someone else.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept it, and we will notify customers directly of material changes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which AltOps is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

12. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, it is severed and the rest of these terms stay in effect.
